Meet the small animal team at Droitwich 

Nursing Team

Vanessa - Head Nurse

Ness has been with the practice since 1994 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2004. She has a keen interest in radiography, assisting in theatre and anaesthesia. Outside of work she enjoys gardening and horse riding.

Sue - Senior Nurse

Sue also joined the practice in 1994 and qualified in 2005. Her interests are in laboratory work and bereavement. Outside of work she enjoys rugby and is a keen supporter of Worcester Warriors. She is also a member of Worcestershire young farmers.

Sarah - Nurse

Sarah has been working here since 2007, she completed an animal nursing qualification in 2006 and is currently on her final year of her veterinary nurse training. She is looking to qualify in December of this year. In her spare time apart from studying for her qualification, she enjoys riding and competing with her 3 horses.

Gemma - Nurse

Gemma has worked with a variety of species of animals since completing the national diploma in applied science animal management at Solihull College in 2004. Gemma joined us in 2009 as a nursing assistant and very much enjoys working in a mixed practice helping out on the farms occasionally and all aspects of small animal nursing

Claire - Kennel Assistant

Claire works with us on an evening and helps to attend any in patients and keeps the kennels and operating areas spick and span.

Reception Team

Kate - Receptionist

Kate started working here in 1999, helping in the large animal office. She now works on the small animal reception 4 days a week. Kate has 2 sons and enjoys gardening, horse’s, cats and her 3 black Labradors.

Steph - Receptionist

Steph has worked on reception at the Droitwich Surgery for the past 10 years. Although a demanding role it is also a very rewarding one.  She shares her home with her family one dog and three cats. Her interests are travelling abroad, sport and of course her animals.
